IR or white flash?

You don't have to decide with this camera. You can go either way with the interchangeable flash modules. Pretty neat concept.

What would be really cool is a camera with interchangeable black flash and white flash modules. I would not be surprised to see one in a year or so considering how fast trail camera technology and design is evolving.

I'll provide an even BETTER idea for many set-ups!

IMO, deer are often not too alarmed by that very 1st white flash. It's often the subsequent ones (after they've turned their heads towards the first) that seem to bother them more. And deer seem to be even more alarmed by "red glow" flash than white flash.

But imagine, a cam that's first flash is white, followed by subsequent "black" flash, invisible to the deer now looking toward the cam following the initial white flash. The cam could be programed to only produce a single white flash say once an hour.

Maybe Reconyx will take this idea and run with it. :D
