Is everyone ready? I am set for the opener! With any luck a nice six will be on the ground first morning. The deer in the area are being nice and showing themselves on camera. 100 yards off a field in the hard woods.

I'll be set after this weekend.Im gonna check my cam one last time,and take my climber with me and I know the general area I want to be at opening morning,just not sure which exact tree.But I do know where I'll be opening evening.In a ladder stand! IM pumped!

I did my scouting and trimming after deer season ended last Jan., so all I have to do is start climbing with my Summit .

I put up 3 stands yesterday and checked my cameras on my lease yesterday in hickman co. I will return back and put up two more in the spots my partners didnt want to venture to, to long of a walk!! Quite alright with me. Plus everybody needs a least a couple of way out of the way stands.

I got all my stands up. Opening day for me is going to be October 11, by that time the deer should be moved onto my place pretty heavy for Fall. Cant decide if Ill spend my opening day around some of my food plots that wont have any pressure or in a 26 acre 2 year old clear cut honey hole that is in the middle of 1000 acres that wont have any pressure at that time either. Decisions, Decisions, and Im bad to put off making them until that opening morning lol

Ive got a couple more to set over scrape lines I found last year but they wont be hunted until Novemeber. I have all my stands for first two months of the season in place. Its gonna be a good weekend. I get to hunt in 5 mornings!
