Despite the weather as of late the birds don't seem to me gobbling?

Anyone else with comments?

Weather notwithstanding, they've gotten better by the day over the course of the last 7-10 days. Of course there's been some windy or rainy days that's it's been off a little but on those sunny warm days they've been way more talkative than they were a couple of weeks ago.

Ain't nowhere near over if you ask me...it's just now getting right.

thanks for the feedback. I may end up going tomorrow. The next 3 days appear to be decent in terms of the weather. Are you close to memphis?

Yes it's over, clean your gun and head to the golf course....lmao.

Not only is it not over, it's not even remotely close to being over

I cant help but laugh every year when these posts start showing up! :D I saw them breeding hens almost a month ago! Guess what? Thats nothing new. Its a LONG way from over. Ive heard turkeys that could have been called up and killed, gobbling and strutting all the way to the gun, in JUNE. Look at it this way, if you only got it say 3 months out of the year, would you be in any hurry for it to be over with? A gobbler feels the same way you do about it!

Just a phase they are in. Really into heavy breeding now, staying with hens all day, roosting with them.No need for lots of gobblin. Will pick back up some as Hens begin nesting.

Well i went yesterday and not a peep again. This is the third farm i have hunted. Yes, it was 32 degrees at sunrise and this cold snap may have shut them down. Just getting a bit frustrated. Heading out again Saturday morning...

Haven't been able to hunt this year due to wife's high risk pregnancy, but saw 3 strutters together in a field this morning all blown up without a hen in sight.
