38days left!! Well I have a question that I am sure many of you will have opinions on.

I can only turkey hunt basically on Sunday and a few Saturday's mixed in there during the season. I will have about 2 hours during the week everyday to get In The wood to hunt before I have to head out and go to school.
I have never had much luck early but in your opinion is 2 hours worth my time in the mornings?

Thanks for any responses !

heck yes! I hunt EVERY DAY during the week before work and I have to be out and to my truck by 8:30 to get to work. That leaves around 2 hours each morning and have killed plenty in that time, even if i dont it just makes work that much easier to deal with that day. I just love being out there.

Last year I killed 1 bird withing 15mins of leaving my truck and 2 years ago killed 2 in less then 30mins.

Absolutely! If you have birds roosting on you, then you should be able to pattern them.

I have to be there first thing and hear them greet the day!

It can be frustrating, especially if you have to leave a gobbling bird. Hunt them, but don't stress them too much. Figure out what they're doing, and if you can't kill him before work, kill him on Saturday.

YES! I have to be at work at 7:30. Killed two longbeards last year, checked the birds in and had them on ice in the cooler just in time for work! THe farms I hunt are only about 10 min from work.

very fun to hunt an hour or so each morning. Its like a puzzle game every morning till u get him. And a great scouting time.

SO true. If I don't kill a bird it just helps me to prepare for the weekends. By that time I usually have the area patterned well.
