Is this a bad loss???

Huge loss. Colton Jumper is not a long term replacement. He is pretty bad actually. Cant tackle and out of position most of the time.



Butch basically said that the MLB and the OLB positions are interchangeable in this defense and that they could slide JRM inside and play Cortez McDowell in Maybin OLB spot. Cortez played for Maybin when he was ejected and done a pretty decent job. I hope this is the route they take honestly because Jumper is a liability.
 
Yeah if teams aren't deep at LB it can be killers. If Uf loses a LB that would really suck!!! Both of our two starters are playing great. Just hope they stay healthy.

You know you might be right. Vols may not even need a MLB to beat them kitty killers. :tu: :rotf:

THIS^^^^^^ if they put Jumper in there, we may be in trouble, especially against FL and GA
 
Those ankle injuries can be tough to overcome...
 
I guess Butch wasn't listening to us on here. I just read on 24/7 sports that he is starting Colton Jumper at Mike LB against Ohio. Hopefully he doesn't do great, but doesn't hurt us and then maybe he will move JRM inside and put Sapp or McDowell on the outside.

Butch said that Elliot Berry would be seeing action against Ohio, but Jumper would be taking the first snap.
