Bass pro has the garmin echo map chirp 93sv on sale tomorrow. I really don't know anything about the new stuff. I remember someone talking about certain transducers working better. Any thoughts? Of course the sale says limited quantities. Lol
 
Yes, it is a tremendous price on that unit. If I had not just purchased a Humminbird Helix 9 SI G2, I would be on their doorstep tomorrow morning.
 
for the money, you wont find a better unit that does SI. the CV transducers on that unit are not bad as lowrance wants everyone to think. and they use the same principle as hummingbirds non-mega downscan. garmins 2d chirp is unbeatable at this time. i was hoping that the new units would go back to a dedicated down crystal for down vu(clear vu), since they won the lawsuit, but looks like not.
 
Thank All. Wife does the traditional shop all night thing with friends. I dropped the hint so we will wait and see.
