Drove by a cattle field yesterday and saw 10 turkeys standing in the far end. I got my binoculars out and surprised when I saw 6 Jakes and 4 Toms all standing together. Didn't know if that was normal or not and if not what it means.
 
Later in the day, say between 2-4, I see this often around my place. Usually a hen or 3 close by.

I agree with AT Hiker there were hens close you didn't see most likely. They could've been 100 yards or more away but they're all part of the same wad
 
It could mean many things....as others have mentioned. Also, when you see gobblers together late in the season,it is a sign that most of the breeding is over.
