Trolled about 7 miles of creek channels and such. Caught 5...nowhere near any cover or brush. Scattered. Very slow and almost boring if it wasn't for the extra bass that pop up from time to time. Paper thin 1 pounders. I bought one of those Millennium umbrella things that attach to the seat pole for shade. That sucker comes in a box with about 200 loose pieces to assemble. So til then...it's big straw hat time.

I don't remember having to assemble my Millennium umbrella holder but I've had it for years and the company changed hands. I use that holder and a 9' Sportbrella XL Premier. I am fair skinned and as much as I fish I wouldn't survive without it.

Oh yeah u could. I have some brush piles so loaded you can catch them on a bare hook.
I'm going to tell you just how bad it is. A buddy of mine and I were out crappie fishing with minnows. We had a pile of crappie on a brush pile that was huge. He was catching crappie every cast. I was catching bream every cast. Same rig, same brush pile. The last crappie I caught was by accident when I was trolling to a new spot while bass fishing and had a crankbait haunting over the edge of the boat. 🤣🤣🤣
