The guy has been the OC for the best player in the nation for 2 years surrounded by loss of talent. Things are a little different in Knoxville at the moment.

I agree. While he is high on the AD's list for head coach, I believe HC experience must be a prerequisite.
If Tennessee goes in that direction, they will be looking for a new coach again in 3 years. Program needs a tested HC.

So vols are thinking about hiring a assistant coach from the number 3 School in the nation after firing the coach that came from the # 1 school in the country .

Who can you go for? A diamond in the rough? After all, most all coaches were a coordinator at some time. No reason to try hire away a successful big time coach, unless they are just miserable because they will pay more to keep him. Im guessing you find a successful coach at mid major, fairly young energetic guy. Thats why White is making big money to make big decisions

Ok, I'm pretty sleepy from hunting all weekend and not sleeping well.....so what does that mean?
He's a sports reporter and is saying that one time during a coaching search involving Danny White, he was very inaccurate with his reporting because of misinformation that Danny White was putting out.
