Starting to heat up here n East Tennessee finally after 3 or 4 days of minimal gobbling they fired up last two morning they this morning we heard prolly 100 gobbles altogether and almost sealed the deal on 2 but hens cut us off about 60 yards next week will be prime here

If anything next week will get quieter. Birds are rapidly getting hennaed up, and in the next week it'll get tough.

Turkeys been gobbling good since day one here in South Cherokee, even with the rain and wind. I have been "dominated" by two different dominant Gobblers everyday since Saturday :) Been gobbling good on the limb really early. Pitching down with hens, gobbling two or three times and shutting up. Typical dominant Gobbler behavior. I've heard a few other Gobblers fire up later in the mornings here and there, but have been completely consumed with these two so far, switching up on them throughout the day. Been tough so far. Got whipped bad at Chuck Swan Thursday and Friday as well.

I disagree at least on my farms the first week here is always really tough but the 2nd n 3rd week is always a whole lot better

Same here, once the first week passes, they seem to get better.
Yea it does the hens start separating quicker and they definitely get louder and little more vulnerable
