But I bet if a man could hang in there with them and catch some slab crappie Saturday morning they would eat GOOD !

Might just have to try it out.
 
I would say your right.The wind will be the trick.I can handle cold temps but cold temps and wind oh no.
 
Ruger, i remember a few years ago I went on Martin Luther King day up to Ky lake after crappie. It was 14 degrees that morning.
This was back when I had an old bass tracker that was well used. Should of probably had my but kicked for going by myself especially in that boat. No one was out on the lake till after lunch that day and only one or two then.

Had a rather good wind from the NE but I had a spot out of the wind and caught quite a few good ones. it was rough getting from the Port ramp to my spot though. It was cold!
I have been after trout a few times when it was about like that.

I could probably be certified crazy.
