I personally prefer the walnut aluminum but I'll let the turkeys be the final judge.

Only one way to find out. Same caller, same turkey(s), same woods, same amount of pressure, same day, and see what the outcome is. I suspect it isn't enough difference for most turkey hunters to realize, much less be able to quantify with any level of certainty. I own several Halloran calls and they are nothing to sneeze at.
