It's No Longer "Sickamauga" - Rave Reviews

Cool nice write up but also if the State wants to keep these Lakes supporting fish like this they need to consider lowering the limit during warm weather months. They had a Triton tourney couple weeks ago at paris landing with 300 plus boats.I saw pics posted from the harbour at paris with dead bass floating every where. They might have well had a fish round up and eat em.

The Chic is definitely at the top of her game right now!!! I just hope things can hold as its getting more pressure than ever before! I think the future is bright and like many others I predict a new state record from the Chic in the next couple years if not sooner!

I'm chomping at the bit to fish the Chick. My wife's grandparents live in Harrison and you can see the lake through the trees from their house. Love to come up during the week and get on the water, but that's kind of hard being in the marine business since we are swamped this time of year.

You need to wait until this Fall/Winter when your chances of catching the biggest females is greatest. Jan thru Mar is a great time to fish the Chic. Give me a call and we will go if you make it up.

Awesome Scott. I'll definitely holler at you. We go to her grandparents house a few times a year. They live a couple miles from island cove marina down in Harrison. That lake looks to fish awful small this time of year for someone who like to fish offshore.
