Since the hunting and weather is kinda sucking this weekend I'm going to scout tomorrow for the upcoming hunt on South Cherokee. Hope I can find some good buck sign and rest my spot behind the house.

I had no desire to be in the woods this weekend because of this weather. Looks like it cooling down a little next weekend, I will take a trip to the lease probably Friday next week and give it a go.

Smart move if you ask me. I scouted a lot yesterday and hopefully it'll pay off. Even if it doesn't, hunting is a lot more fun once you know you've got a good buck in the area making fresh big rubs and scrapes.
Very productive scouting trip, bagged 3 squirrels for a pot of stew and located 2 rub lines from last year. Saw a forkhorn and 2 does I could have killed with a rock lol. Opening day of gun season is looking very promising!

Sounds like you did good! Seeing 3 deer in itself is an accomplishment for South Cherokee 3 tree rats is a bonus!
