Saw this on another board. Thought it was interesting.

Hyatt who won the Biletnikoff Award last week took time this week to thank his teammates and tell them farewell as he gave them their gift cards for lodging from Hyatt. Something, Hyatt and his family wanted to do with their NIL deal from World of Hyatt.

"He knows that he didn't do it alone," Jamie Hyatt, Jaylin's father said on Rocky Top Rewind. "When we deal with some of these brands that's one thing that he asked about. Is there within this contract a gifting opportunity. Some brands want to work that in, some can't. Working with the World of Hyatt was great. We could bounce back and forth with them with ideas. One of our biggest difficulties and difficulties of a lot of parents is getting to see our sons play. It's tough. We are always jumping on planes which is not cheap then we have to figure out where to stay. In Knoxville, the rates are incredibly high during the season. Jaylin knew we struggled getting to his games and it put a huge financial strain on us. When we talked to World of Hyatt we were like wouldn't it be cool if we could somehow work out something with his teammates where their parents could get to the bowl game and see them play. It's been a great partnership so far."

Hope for his sake that his NFL career turns out better than Velus Jones' is turning out. Looks like he's going to be a one and done with the Bears. Over on a Bears board their fans are competing to be the one to pay for his Uber to O'Hare. It's bad. He's a really bad NFL WR.

What does that have to do with Jalin Hyatt?

You can take 5-10 players outta the first round of every draft that didn't work.

Looks like your boy J Fields is 5-18 on that same bears team with 20 picks and 6 lost fumbles. Haskins got cut before year 2 was up RIP.

Nice gesture. Good on him.

Not sure where you get your stats from but Fields is the real deal. Will be in the Pro Bowl this year. Also only the third QB to ever rush for 1,000 yards with 2 or 3 games to go.

Velus Jones played in the same simplistic college offense as Hyatt. Can't run routes, can't learn an NFL playbook, but sure can muffnpunts and fumble on jet sweeps. To succeed as an NFL WR have to be able to do more than run real fast in a straight line.

That's his Stats 5-18 as a starter 20 picks 6 lost fumbles 7 total fumbles.. his a monster lol

28th in passing yards this year.

Jones was a 3ed rounder, no one experienced him to set the NFL on fire. Do you know how many bust they was from many many programs in the first 3 rounds? Do you know how many bust programs like bama sent to the NFL? Or can they not teach a NFL playback either? What a joke

I understand where Mescalero is coming from and what he's saying has some validity in my opinion. I will say that Hyatt has shown to have good hands. I don't really remember him dropping many balls this year in games I watched UT play and he made some decently tough catches in traffic.
His durability is suspect and will hurt his draft stock. The games he actually got hit, he wound up gimpy—not saying he came out of the game for extended periods but kind of disappeared for the remainder of the game even while playing.
