Jim McElwain At Media Days

I watched him today at the Media Days and was very unimpressed with him.He sure is not a motivation speaker and not much enthused to be there was the vibe I got from him,I guess that's why gator has not said anything about him :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

He's a football coach, not a used car salesman like some coaches.... :tu: Meyer came across the same way and won two N/C....

Dang! Tuff crowd! I watched as well and was actually gonna ask why yall hate on him so much. I thought he was pretty cool. Seemed to be very personable. Maybe that's because I had to watch derek mason. I guess vol fans have gotten used to the robot type and all the corny catch phrases. I'd bet mcelwain has a better first year than Lyle.

You mean Coach Mac didn't have any bricks to sell or mental toughness. How about poise or resiliency. I'm surprised that he didn't mention the 63 effort or process. Heck, I was hoping coach. Mac would talk about each and everyday or good fit. I was hoping coach Mac would talk about building a culture or accountability. Why didn't he talk about power of one or moving forward... :rotf:

I bet most Gator fans think the same as me.I sure hope his coaches can show a little more pep in their step than McElwain when recruiting these highschool players.I can see now why McElwains last class ranked in the 60's oke:
