anyone got any experience with this aluminum call? Was gonna get a dawkins but may trade for this one for now. anyone have both that care to give a compare?

I see you passed, but I have both and will be carrying both this season. I made a post a little while ago about the Atomic 13. The best way to describe it is a hybrid slate-aluminum. I think it's a better all around call than the Dawkins as it's much easier to get soft on it. You should check out the sound file I made on my post.

After playing it more, I think it's more of a slate-aluminum hybrid. It can hit the high note, but can play very soft. Schaffer's calls have really good re-sale value if you don't like it.

The aluminum he uses is supposedly hard to get. It's the easiest aluminum I've ever played.
