Thanks for the input and advice on this.
Got the sight back in December.
Finally got around to putting it on (trying to) a couple days ago.
To say I was pissed was an understatement when it wouldn't fit.
Through the limitless knowledge on this site, and my calming down, I figured out that with a slight modification I could make the sight work.

Lessons I learned:

The stock comes off a Browning Silver by first removing the butt pad.

The screws in the butt pad on a Browning Silver are put in at a STUPID angle that angles both screws upwards towards the top of the stock at about 10 o'clock. They are not straight in.

Being calm and drawing on 12+ years as a tool and die maker will make the installation process of this sight approximately 6 minutes total. (AFTER you figure out what angle the butt pad screws are installed)

Now I just have to shoot it and dial it in.
Sure hope it don't break my thumb.

WOW man that rocks!!! Aren't you glad you didn't get rid of it now?

Also, a little goes a long way in adjusting those type sights. Start up close 10-15 yards to get your POA/POI close using cheap hunting loads (non-steel also).

I got mine mounted on my 870 over the weekend. Its just the FF2 on a Marlin base instead of the between the stock mount. I love it but sure hate that they just came out with the ff3. The top access to the battery and click adjustments almost make it worth swapping out.

Ho  pe it don't break your nose!!

Actually, after getting it put on, I am hoping it don't break my thumb.

Gonna test it out some this week.

Gravey, it is a Burris Fastfire 2.
Wish I had known they were coming out with the 3 so soon, I would have waited on it. :(
