Got the sight back in December.
Finally got around to putting it on (trying to) a couple days ago.
To say I was pissed was an understatement when it wouldn't fit.
Through the limitless knowledge on this site, and my calming down, I figured out that with a slight modification I could make the sight work.
Lessons I learned:
The stock comes off a Browning Silver by first removing the butt pad.
The screws in the butt pad on a Browning Silver are put in at a STUPID angle that angles both screws upwards towards the top of the stock at about 10 o'clock. They are not straight in.
Being calm and drawing on 12+ years as a tool and die maker will make the installation process of this sight approximately 6 minutes total. (AFTER you figure out what angle the butt pad screws are installed)
Now I just have to shoot it and dial it in.
Sure hope it don't break my thumb.
