Food Plots john deere planter question

Not knowing which model planter you have, I'll just guess guess but it usually involves changing the sprockets on the chain drive.

You're welcome. If you plan on keeping that planter for a while, I would recommend a manual to help you with proper set up. They can usually be found on eBay. Most of the food plot planters I've seen have been chopped up 7000 series versions if that helps.

I had a 6 row jd planter for a few years, on it, you swapped the drive sprockets to increase or decrease seed population

Have you tried your local JD dealership or the internet? Do you have a owners manual? If not, need to get one for the different sprockets for plants to fit your needs
