I've been thinking about trying to turkey hunt on john tully wma this spring but I cant find much info on it. I looked at the hunting guide and it lists the rules for dove, deer, waterfowl, and quail but not turkeys.

Have any of yall ever hunted there? If so I welcome any info or advice. I plan on putting in a call to the area manager but this site has always been such a great source of information I figured I'd try here first.

Hunted it for years, Its a 20,000 acre thicket. Birds tend not to be very vocal due to pressure.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new to turkey hunting and all so its trial and error for me as far as calling goes anyway but it looks like a pretty good place close to the house. I may try to get up there this weekend and take a look around.
