He will be missed. I loved listening to him call a UT game.

I have personally met John Ward and he shared some stories with me about TN and FL football. He shared a great story about the HBC and why TN didn't get him and he ended up at UF. I have to say that after meeting several Vols and personally talking to them. Ward and Fulmer were two of my favorites...

Always heard that Fuller was the one screwed Majors over and got him fired. Some Vol fans even say it is true.

I was around when that happened but from my job I later met a lot of coaches and players.

Yes a college football ICON...even many non VOLS fans could recognize John Wards voice. You know a lot of college teams have that guy, but there truly was only 1 John Ward.
