2 for me and 2 for a member here. They are from the hens I killed this past fall. I think wingbones are my favorite call next to the tube call.

Anyone else here making a new wingbone call for the spring?

I didn't keep any of the wings this year since it was my first season turkey hunting. I am going to try to make some next year. I started making some old school striker wooden box calls this winter. I took one to some of my big time turkey hunting friends to see what they thought. I was very surprised at the response i got. They all loved it and wanted to buy it from me. I will post a pic later.

It is loud like a box call but you don't have to worry about the paddle top making noise when walking in the woods.

I love that box call, never seen one like it. I bet it sounds good too... Do you put chalk on it like a regular box?
