I peeled off the scales and skin. Used a dremil to shape them and take edges off, then used the buffing attachment to polish the bone and spur. Then a few coats of white nail polish on the bone and clear nail polish on the spur. Be careful on the spur or you could buff threw it. This kind of stuff is really not like something I would normally do, but I was stuck in the house for 2 weeks after surgery and my imagination ran wild. Next thing you know my wife is giving me crap for searching through the beads at a local arts and craft store.
