Just lost my spot

Had a good spot, I took a nice bird last Friday and got a buddy his 1st bird on Sunday.

I have been trying to get a lease so the spot doesn't go away but to no avail.

I was just informed the guy that owns the land is going to take up turkey hunting and he knows somebody through church that is going to take him.

Sure was a good spot, I sure hate to lose it but good things never last forever.

I guess I'm just supposed to be thankful for time tome I had to chase hem there. Just a little depressed because I just hate to think about going back to public land.

I lost a spot over the daughter of the landowner. Apparently I killed too many deer and she was jealous. I offered to take her anytime I went. She hasn't hunted since.


Big or small, kill em all
 
Man….. I hate to hear that. I know the feeling. Ive been there and done that several times over the years. :cry:
 
I've got a 40-acre tract less than 2 miles from my house. Have hunted it for about 10 years but the lady is in her 90's and moved out. Its just a matter of time until she passes and the farm is sold but I'm hunting it while I can.
 
Thats is what I told him, He said he has a guy from church that is a master caller, Said he don't even hunt anymore just likes to call them in.
