Yep. Many years ago I was sneaking into the woods from the road. It was still pretty dark and I was only about 50' off the road when I scared one out of a pine tree. I moved another 100' or so to the edge of a ridge and sat down. I called and he fired up. He gobbled probly 8-10 times before he shut up. About 45 minutes later, he showed up. Fortunantly I got him.
