Good luck to everyone taking a youth!

Posting this for everyone to see, as only 86 of the 95 counties have a juvenile hunt this weekend.

MAV Unit consisting of the five counties that border the MS River, as well as Giles, Lawrence, Lincoln and Wayne do not have a juvenile hunt this weekend. Their juvenile hunt is in two weeks, April 10-11. See map below for counties that open two weeks later than rest of statewide season.

Will wake up and look at the weather. Will probably make the drive to the farm (25 minutes) and make a game time decision depending on radar. Other son has a baseball tournament, so if it rains out our hunt, will make the drive to his games. Fields are all turf, so they'll play unless it's lightning in the area.

I hope to. I am still trying to get over a battle with Covid pneumonia. Will probably try to go to a spot that's not as hard to get to the top of the ridge and hope the weather holds off for a few hours.

I hated playing on all turf lol teach you to stay down on the ball though.

My 12 year old has a track meet at 9:30, then it's turkey time for us. Weather forecast looked ugly for us in the AM. So hopefully we can hunt after it moves out in the afternoon.

My two juvies got picked for Chickasaw NWR, but the river has the MAV zone closed this weekend. Looks like we are headed to the hills. Good luck everyone.
