Same here...Old Coach is rootin for ya. I have Kevin Phillips, my processor and taxidermist, bringing his son, Bailey, over in the morning...Good thread Spit!
I just came down off the hill with the tractor..had to cut some wood..pulled into the back of the cabin and turned off the tractor...turkeys gobbling like crazy up on the hill I just came off of...just had to call the youngster that's coming here tomorrow and tell him...hope he has sweet turkey dreams tonight...
The father and son team that hunted my place this morning had three or four gobblers with a group of hens...the toms were gobbling at daylight...couldn't get them away from the hens. They also saw two coyotes that were coming into their decoy but changed their mind at about 80 yards. The youngster got cold and they left a little early but they had a great time. 26 degrees here this morning...would have been a good morning for deer season!
