They want to kneel, I say let them. I 100% support their right to do so. But it is also my right not to support them. Kentucky will not be on my TV in my house at a minimum until Cal is gone. What do they always tell conservatives. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequence. I hope they lose every game the rest of the year. And don't talk about they are kids. They are grown men who can vote, join the military etc.

I appreciate and respect your principles; support their rights and exercise yours to focus your energy elsewhere.

No, so will focus my energy where I see necessary. Not your freaking decision where I focus my energy or decision. Unless you are paying me SHUT UP. God you liberals love to tell people what to do.

Ah. I didn't think I was trying to tell you what to do - certainly wasn't my intention. I meant no disrespect but did want to say I respect your position. I'll take your advice and shut up. My bad.
 
You know the thing if it is, I have no problem with young men doing things to raise awareness of issues in their communities. Some of them are brought up in far less than ideal circumstances.

What I'm not on board with is kneeling for the anthem, which at very best alienates over half the country and does nothing to advance your "cause". I'm also not on board with falling lock step in with BLM and any other BS politically driven, factually inaccurate "movements".
In a year where we needed distractions from sports more than ever it's a shame that it too has gotten so politically charged.
