Anyone have any tips for catching some bass on Kentucky Lake at the end of the month. We are taking a family trip the last weekend of this month. I have been advised to flip the bushes if the water is up. Any ideas?

black/blue jig and a black/blue tube around bushes and docks will get you bites for sure. topwater early and late, floating worm, etc.
How big of a weight should I use? Am I throwing a 1oz on the tube baits and jigs?

I would go with 1/4 to 3/8. If the water is not in the bushes I would suggest creek channel banks. There will be fish moving in and out if those creeks to spawn. Easy pattern to catch fish this time if year on KY lake. I've got a tournament there this weekend. I will post again afterward if I have anything else to add

Black/blue, black/red, maybe green pumpkin beaver style baits, chart/white 3/8 or 1/2 spinnerbait, squarebills. Like previously stated it's a pretty easy pattern to catch fish that time of year.
Great. I am looking forward to it. I am not used to fishing grass so I am super pumped about that.

Kentucky lake isn't as good as it used to be. The lake has seen tremendous fishing pressure in recent years. Plus Asian Carp are really spreading throughout the lake.
