These have intrigued me but haven't pulled the trigger cause of a few things I've questioned

1. Do they work on steep slopes? Better yet, do they keep you from sliding down the hill? I'm rarely set up in a flat spot.

2. I always thought the frame would beat the crap out your gun when slung over your shoulder. I normally carry my gun diagonal across my body. Does it?

1 - I've had no issues on uphill or downhill sits. Most have legs that adjust to make those easier

2 - I carry my gun the same way and have never had an issue.

My experience limited to the Cabela's kickstand vest.

If you get one, you'll need to "play" with it for a while to figure it out, and it's easier/faster to "deploy" than put back up (properly).

Also, you cannot use the kickstand feature in conjunction with a "turkey lounger".
I often take my kickstand off, as when I don't mind having the extra weight of the "turkey lounger", and/or plan to sit for longer periods, pretty easy to just toss that kickstand (and cushion) in back of truck (not as easy to put it back on later).

Thanks for the info fellas. May have to pull the trigger. Gets old fighting sliding down or put in a pretzel when facing up
