Since when did "candidate" mean someone was going anywhere? Saban has been the leading candidate for a dozen or more jobs since he has been at Alabama.

I think he would take the Job if. If the 49ers are serious about it. If they offer him the right contract, he loves that state, and he has been known to coach only 1 Year and leave lol.

I really hope he leaves bama and goes to the NFL so I don't have to hear about saban and the best recruiting class a roster filled with 5 stars and NFL players winning games for him. And fans and espn talking about him like some football God

Why would anyone think Kiffin is irreplaceable? Everything you stated that you hoped won't happen started in 2008. Right or wrong, it doesn't appear to be slowing down too much. Looking forward to next season. Might be one to remember.
