Pics don't show what he is. Actually he is close to the size of some deer you kill.
Couple hints, over 18" inside spread, 5-1/2" bases.

Dang, close, I got 147" with the stick on orange tape and 146-4/8" roughed with a cable and steel tape. I guessed him at 130 before I measured him. By far my best 8 ptr and one of my best deer. Close to a 150" 8 ptr which I think is rare.

I've got an exactly 150" gross 10 here that I use for a measuring stick. So if somebody gives a few measurements I can usually get pretty close And yes a 150" 8 is a hoss

I did not realize he was that good, so I did not take many pictures, I did not even get a pic of myself with him.
I am for sure happy with him. Taxidermist in KY estimated him at 5.5. I will add a couple pics when I get skull back.
