While the distraction won't matter this weekend, I wonder if he will coach Bama through the playoffs?
I'm sure Nick will expect him to do so, but there's a good 4-5 weeks that would be impossible to try to do both, and there is no way he would wait until Bama is finished before he starts recruiting for UGA. But hey, at least Nick won't have to search far for his next excuse when Bama loses

Bama is the better team. If UF wins, turnovers and special teams played a big factor.

Richt is supposed to coach the bowl game but heard earlier he's been offered the Miami job. If he accepts and leaves UGA before the bowl that could put pressure on Kirby to get to Athens.
