Can orange disk be reused?
this is my first night rifle I shot a ten times and was using the disc over and over again when I got home to clean it there was a lot of carbon buildup on the breach plug and in the bolt face and inside of the action I was using Winchester 209 with 80 grams of black horn.

James, how does it shoot?I could use them a couple of times without it affecting accuracy, but no more than they cost once rifle is sighted in I would probably toss the used ones

Dmonty I shot it at 50 yrds hitting cans so far so good.
Today am going to buy a scope.
As for the disc am going to use them 1. I need to find some Remington 209 primers.
Dmonty I'll let you know how it goes after I do some range time with it.

If you can find them get the Federal 209A primers, they are supposed to be the hottest shotgun primers,I don't know if they are any cleaner but it might keep you from getting misfires when the temp is colder this fall especially if your using the BH209 powder.

I have a DISC and I have reused them when I knew I didn't have replacements. For a one time reuse the primer will fit just a little looser but still snug. If used a second reuse there is a 50/50 chance it will be too loose to hold the primer.

They can be a scarce critter to get ahold of sometimes but once you find a supply buy a bunch. I have 2 or 300 now and should last as long as I want to shoot that gun.

My rifle is a 1 in 28. It shoots Shockwaves in 300gr and XTP 300gr really well. Also a great light load in my gun is a 200gr Shockwave and 80gr of BH209. A real killer of a combo.
