Ky Hunters...

Be a short season if they poke 1, unless they draw tags or shoot doe's. reckon the wife's would be happy over a 1 day season, my wife was back in the day lmao.

Thanks guys.
Eastern Edmonson county. 56 degrees with 5 mph wind from the north. Was covered up over here from 6:30 to 8:30. Hunting a saddle between two hilltops in a blind turtle with feeder and mineral lick. Deer cruising through or stop at feeder. Doe and two spotted fawns, then three doe with 4" velvet spike, then four doe with three spotted fawns, then 12" spike hard antler, then a doe, then another doe, then doe with spotted fawn, then six point velvet buck with doe following. Should have been meat hunting but still have a shooter, ole crooked horn, in velvet. Here comes another doe. Great to be in God's church and very blessed. This is my 49th deer season. Now three hens no poults. Took a couple bites of corn then scratching their way off up the ridge. Now about 30 doves.

Had 7 pass by me this morning. 4 bucks, all still in velvet, 2 were 2.5 yr old 8 pts. 2 hens, no poults. Pulled my camera cards and my 2 shooters have been there this week, just not this morning lol. Im going back up after church in the morning. These cameras sure make a man second guess his strategy! I HAD intended to hunt a different stand tomorrow but my target bucks have been under a different stand more than they have under the one I would have hunted without cameras.
My shooters are showing up more in the evenings than the mornings and its typically between 630 and 715pm. I guess I gotta stay late tomorrow!

Beans in my area are turning brown and losing their leaves so you know what that means. They have probably already quit the beans and are waiting on acorns now.
