still there, set up year round. they were able to get a few more targets set up in the woods late last year.

no contests. this range was set up by the local TWRA lake manager(and a couple of hours of my time) for anyone to use. NO lake permit needed. park in the parking lot and walk around the lake store.
there are target bales for 15, 20, 30,40 and 50 yard shoots in the field along with a few 3D targets(buffalo at 50). then there is a walk-thru in the woods with 9-12 targets. some are placed in a gulley with steps(and handrail) to the bottom.
WARNING: TICKS AND CHIGGERS LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! use insect repel.

We went up there and shot today and had a really good time. Pretty cool.

well, that tree may be there for a while, the guy that upkeeps that has a broke ankle.
