Broad heads are flying good but were hitting a bit high at 20 & 30.

Moved my sight up until the 20 was spot on.

30 Yd was still hitting high so I got the allen wrench out and went about adjusting my pins. It was starting to get late and the skeeters were out so I was hurrying. Big mistake.

Moved my 20 +30 yd pins instead of my 30+40 yd pins. And I moved them the wrong way. Nothing like trying to adjust your pins with the bow upside down and backwards.

Tried to put them back where I started and shoot a couple arrows but the skeeters were mauling me.

Guess what I am doing tomorrow morning? :o

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger there fishboy. I had my bow in the shop today having a new string put on. Got the new string, peep and kisser button installed, went home and got things dialed in. Bow was shooting like a brand new machine. Couldn't believe how much difference a new string made. Started shooting around dusk and decided that the new peep that was installed just wasn't large enough to let enough light in to take advantage of early morning and late evening shots.

Me being one who can't leave well enough alone decoded to drill out the peep sight "just a little bit."

Peep hung on drill bit, drill bit popped peep out of string, string slams shut on new carbide drill bit, flutes on new carbide drill bit slice through fast-flite strands faster than inside of peep sight. I was able to pry the string open slightly and remove the bit but not before it sliced neatly through one strand and a portion of another.

Brand new $40 Zebra string. Most expensive peep sight I've ever bought.

Guess where I'll be first thing in the morning?

You didn't need to move your pins , you needed to move your nocking point up to get your broadheads to group lower with fieldpoints .

I had to make myself stop tinkering with my bow. I'm still not 100% happy with the little things, but I know I can hit an 11 ring out to 30yds and a grapfruit at 40yds so I think I'll leave it alone.

did the same thing last weekend. I didn't loose my string though.

I heard a tip for those that have a plastic peep. figure out what size drill bit you would use to achive the correct apature, and heat the blunt end of it up. Melt your way through it. Leaves rounder edges and no little particles of plastic behind which will help with glare.

I haven't tested this yet so if you do and it doesn't work......I am just the messanger.lol
