I grew up in Lincoln county and I always saw tons of turkeys there. I've been gone now since 2006 and from what I hear the turkey population has taken a massive hit. I know that when I'm back home visiting the folks I never see them anymore. Was Giles county hit in the same fashion as Lincoln? I live directly north now in Cheatham county and this last spring we had an amazing hatch. I regularly saw groups of 15 to 20 polts with just 2 or 3 hens. Was this something that was statewide or just regional?
