Not sayin u cant kill a deer, but they will be pretty shook up directly following the quota. One of the quotas usually falls during the rut so ofcourse anything can happen.
Thanks for the info, iv alaways hunted the week before the forst quota and havnt had any succes, the rut didint seem to be cranking up at that time so im thinking the week of the the 9th through the 18th
