Drawn on LBL for this coming weekend. Going up and do some scouting on Thursday and Friday. Where is a good place to start looking.

Thanks but its a big area. We are drawn on the Tennessee side any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Leave Piney Campground (or pass it) headed down Fort Henry Road towards the Trace.
As soon as you pass the no hunting zone on the left pull in at the next field.
It has some pine trees on the left edge of it.
Start right there and listen and then just ease off into the woods past the pine trees.
Heard lots of birds right there before.
That should get ya started anyway.

Didn't mean to cut you short, but really anywhere you park and walk in the woods you most likely will find turkey sign. If you've never been there just pick a spot relatively close to where you're staying and start hunting. I've hunted area 12, 13, 15, & 16 and seen/heard turkeys in all of them.

North South Trail.......You can access it at several points.

I am close to Martin. I am sure you have been at least close to there and if you were there in your "runnin" years, you probably went there to go to Cadillacs.
