Almost got one on clearance but thought about all the briars and how I could probably just tear it up. I run and gun a lot, and will move on a gobbler often and can find myself in briars. Same with deer hunting, I am in briars a lot while bowhunting too. But am I making a mistake in not buying while it's more than half off original price?

If it's a good buy and you want it, get it..... You are turkey hunting not rabbit hunting.... just watch what you are doing and be easy on it. I've been through briars a time or two because of no other choice.... but most of the time I can find another route.

Depends on which one you are looking at. I have one that I would not bust briars with and one that I would with no hesitation.

this ones a Walmart special and I felt the leaf material and decided it was not for briars if I do buy it.

Griz, I'd like to think I could avoid briars most of the time, but I know better. I suppose I could get a small bag to stuff the leaf suit in and only wear it when I set up

The main thing keeping me from spending the 25 bucks is that Im trying to save some extra pocket cash for the NWTF convention in a week and a half. I gotta think about it quick before they sell out.

Unless you just like bumping elbows and wading through large crowds..... you can order about anything online that they sell at the convention.... I went once and it was nice to say I've been. But I wasn't impressed enough to want to go again.

Save your money and shop from home....

I'm going just because it's fun and there's people making turkey calls everywhere and all kinds of stuff to look at. I do very little buying and mostly looking. Plus I need to go to bass pro shops for some tackle anyway.

I might just go get that leafy suit tomorrow if they still have one.

I love mine, for the most part. The one I bought was from bass pro. The bottoms are near briar proof, while the tops are like a netting. The only part that is kind of irritating is the bottoms have somewhat of a low crotch. I've found that when scaling riverbanks and running between positions the low crotch gives me limited leg motion. Other than that the suit is great. I've low crawled through mud and briars and the suit held up great.

I just wear the top, which doesn't hang too bad. the bottoms are noisy and hang. I think they'll see you moving if you're ghillied up or not, but it makes me feel better anyway

I wear a leafy top, but not a leafy bottom due to briars. Briars will just make the suit even leafier...

when i comes to leafy suits just do yourself a favor and buy a good one if you are getting one so you don't have to invest in another one in 2 years.

I wear them all spring long, I believe it does help with hiding me but honestly i wear one most of the time so i can just wear shorts and a tshirt under it to stay cool

I have one leafy suit but I'm gonna buy a better one at the convention or Bass Pro.I dont buy alot myself!!

I bought a good one two years ago and it's all I wear for camo until muzzleloader season. I ambush several turkeys every year and I think this gear has made me more effective.

Well I waited too long and they were sold out. But I got a good waist pack on clearance for 13 bucks. Been wanting one of those
