Learned some things on this opening day

1. Dnt drop a railroad tie on your leg the weekend before opening day. Just now able to walk without a limp. Still lots of swelling and bruising. Knee high boots are not comfortable at all.
2. Expect the unexpected, due to #1 I choose a place that was close that I've always seen deer and never seen sign of others, well I'm walking in and see a flashlight… just backed out and sat down on some new ground with no luck.
3. Learn to relax and be thankful it's deer season just take a min and enjoy.
 
When I left there were 4 trucks there. Didn't seem to be many for the opener. Just bad luck on that hunter being in the area!
