I love 'em.
x2, especially at dusk and dawn. They have helped improve my ability to keep track of my arrow once it is released. IMO, they will help you out somewhat with marginal hits and complete misses, as the arrow is easier to track from the moment of release until the point of impact, whether it be the deer or the dirt. I say give them a try.

I love using them and have one on every arrow in my quiver except for onethat one is in case I come across a "book" buck. I have used the Nockturnals the last several years and I love themthey weigh the least, have a very simple operation and are the least expensive. I have one that I have designated my "lab rat" and it has been submerged in water and covered in blood and finally after 91 shots did it start messing up.

I have tried Nockturnals, the one from Carbon Express, Easton Tracer and Luminock. My favorite is the Nockturnals.
Seems to be a common theme among the few that have answered here (that have used them). What is it about the Nockturnals that is that much better, or is it just a personal preference? Just trying to better understand what it is about them (cost savings, weight, brighter, availability, reliability, etc) that you and others like so much. Thanks in advance.

They are cheaper, weigh less, reliable and have a simple operation that operates without magnets or what notand they are very bright.
