Limbsaver Slip On Recoil Pad???

This is probably a stupid question but are you supposed to take the factory recoil pad off? Or shoot it with both on or does it not matter? Also for those of you using them do they help?

i believe so, i tried one on my gun and didnt like thing at all. if would move just a bit when pressure was applied to it. Took it back and now just using the factory one again.

I tried it last night with both on and the length of pull was just too long for my liking. I think it might get in the way if I had to throw up for a quick shot. I am going to take the factory pad off and see how it fits. It fits on the stock nice and snug though.
