Lincoln Co hunters

Driven through Lincoln Co quite a bit this year. Haven't seen a single tom anywhere on the back roads where I used to see dozens. I've seen a fair number if hens ( saw 2 flocks of 8 each today without a gobbler around). I know the population is down there, but is it really down THAT much?

The last time I hunted Lincoln was 6 years ago. Had 30 something legal birds in range in 1 day and finally doubled. Mine had white bars on his fan to boot. It's sad/crazy how it's changed so fast according to current reports. It's sure a pretty place to kill one.
 
I know a guy that hunts two 400+ acre tracts in Lincoln county and he said there's not a huntable population on either tract and they both used to be loaded.

That is exactly what seems to be the problem with the state.... properties that had a bazillion birds now have none, while 10 miles away there are tons of birds. Oh, there is no such thing as 'infested with birds' :(

Lincoln county guy here. My Lincoln county spot is better than my Giles and Lawrence county spots.
2006-2010 was great hunting in Lincoln, 2011-2016 terrible, 17'-18' have been better but not like 10 years ago.

Yes Lincoln is struggling too as a whole in my opinion.

From Lincoln all the way west to Wayne has been my hunting grounds for 10-15 years and the past 7-8 years has been my gripe of few birds.
