Can't seem to find it now, but saw someone had posted a way to tell how many hunters had taken 1, 2, 3 or 4 birds.

Little help plz?

no it's a little over 30,000. Maury county was over 1000 hope that's not from the nonresidents killing off the population on yanahli

Hardeman appears to be headed for a record low. Starting in 2006 the harvest totals: 627, 624, 673, 625, 658, 603, 544, 458, 482 and as of this moment we sit at 405 with 2 days remaining. Of course maybe that's because of self-regulation...but i doubt it. :roll:
 
Hey, while we're at it, who has the link to the KY info? I'm sure they have even better data!

Although both Lincoln and Giles are higher than most, it is a shame because the turkey meccas they were in the 90s and early to mid 2000's
As far as the Giles county harvest goes, I would bet my house that greater than 75% came from north of highway 64 all the way to the Marshall and Maury county line.

And it will not let me look past 2006. TWRA probably made it to be that nobody could look pre 2006, so that the general public can not see what it once was.

Used to, I thought Giles was the best county in America to hunt turkeys.

This might be a dumb question but how has 2 people killed 8 birds this year? Quota hunts with bonus birds I'm guessing

I think if I'm not mistaken, one could kill 10 legal birds in tennessee. 4 statewide, 2 quota bonus, 4 at Fort campbell.

may even be more than that.
 
Rockhound is almost correct. You can kill 14 in the state legally. There is one other place that you can kill 4 birds that don't count to your 4 state birds. I know both guys that killed the 8.
