Been playing around with the Garmin livescope for couple weeks now and all I can say is wow. It's unreal what you can see. It's definitely changing the way I fish. Caught a nice mess yesterday morning off deep water structure.

id put the garmin mfd on top where you have the hds, if you plan on scanning out very far over. lol disregard if your eyes are still in good shape.

I may move it to the middle, not sure yet.On lowrance im always zooming in and out and on humminbird im always adjusting sen and contrast. From what i hear with the livescope you will be adjusting depth range for diffetent depths.

yeah you can set depth and forward orientation to whatever you need. it will pick up crappie at 200 ft but the returns are small on a 9" screen, thats what i was getting at. but you can up the color gain to brighten the returns up as well.

I put it on the TM (terrova) the first trip out. After that I built a transducer mount with pvc parts and like it much better. If your fishing in much wind it's hard to get a good picture with the TM moving around. I usually keep my distance on 30-35ft, depth on auto and sensitivity on 70-75%.

I mostly tight line jigs and its so dang cool to see fish in a stake bed, drop the jig down and watch them react to it. Ive learned that alot of fish look at our baits and even touch the bait but for whatever reason want eat it. It's been a real eye opener

Jamey I have got to get in the boat one day with ya so I can see one first hand!
I will be there all next week....well after I kill a turkey or two (hopefully)!!
Holler at me one day or if ya need a hand finishing things up just let me know.
