I like the part about the Negative vol fans 5-0 #6 team. The Floor for this team is what now 9-3? You realize the vols haven't did that since 07'! Haven't had a top AP 21 finish in 15 years! you still have some fans that only wanna talk about the D and say vols haven't beat anyone.

2016 wasn't that long ago. Tennessee started 5-0 Beat Florida, then Georgia in weeks 5 and 6, moved up to #9 in the polls.
Don't you feel this though to some degree? How many times has your heart been broken. My oldest daughter is 17 and has never seen me happy about UT football for an extended period. Lol
I never trusted that year either. I have reason to be more hopeful this year. The confidence and swagger are there. Other teams have reason to dread playing us. That hasnt happened in so long I've forgotten the feeling. Hard to shake the "waiting for the other shoe to drop" mentality. Like a battered wife over here…

I had this team at 8-4 before the season posted it on this Site Mutiple times so they are currently ahead of the expectation I had for them.
I had them getting beat by Both Bama and UGA not gonna be shocked or upset if both those games are still Ls both those programs are better then UT right now.
That was where I would have spit coke out my nose, if I had been drinking one.This was perfect. Several on this board would get tased.

Had one of my friends ask me how I could let my son grow up and be an Alabama fan.

Makes me sad to think back about how it was so awesome to hear John Ward say it's football time in Tennessee.
