It's happened to me plenty of times but I didn't even see a doe. Thing is I can never talk myself into leaving early cause you never know what could be heading your way.

I have a buddy who is fortunate enough to hunt pretty much all season. I think he's sat 30-40 times already and hasn't seen a deer at least half of those. He knows what deer he's hunting though

I get tickled at folks that get upset about not seeing deer, over here it has been normal to not see anything but tracks for weeks and only a few deer seen each season, I have seen 2 deer since muzzyloader started and was able to shoot the 2nd 1, last chance for me as I had to go back to work, reckon folks have lots of places to hunt but a lot of us are limited and time also to go some where is hard to get.

I hunted yesterday morning and evening. Saw a coyote and a possum. Yet, I'm getting ready to hit it again.

Mid way through the second week of muzzleloader the deer we're very active in our area...we were seeing them mornings and afternoons and even a few during midday. Yesterday sightings were lower for us than previous days. But hang in there and keep hunting because there are still some good days ahead...it's November...Good Luck!.
I have been fortunate to only be skunked twice this season. Once in bow season and once last Wednesday. Some of those times only seeing 1 deer tho. You can see 1 one day and 20 the next from the same location. You just never know
