Looking buying some land and need help...

My dad and I have been looking to buy some property and neither of us have any expertise in managing property. Does anyone know of a good resource on the web where I can read up on the different government programs like CRP, the ins and outs of farming leases and anything else I need to know about owning and managing a large track of land. thanks.
